NeoTsai Grill Teriyaki: Discover the Best Teriyaki Bowls in Huntington Beach

My daughter and I have been on a teriyaki spree during our trip, so we decided to give this place a try. The online menu doesn't show everything they offer. Besides the usual chicken and beef teriyaki bowls and plates, they also have wraps, salads, and quesadillas. You can also get brunch/breakfast items like waffles, crepes, pancakes, and smoothies. A very wide range of options. The shrimp options are crossed off the menu in the store. The lady behind the counter was super nice and patient as I couldn't decide what I wanted. My daughter got a chicken wrap, and I got a half-and-half beef and chicken teriyaki bowl. The meat was well-cooked (the beef was not chewy but very tender), but the teriyaki sauce is served on the side or on top of the meat, not seared and marinated in it. It was good but not as good as some other teriyaki places we visited, and the price was the same. The store was very clean, and everything was made to order. There is a small seating area outside. We would eat here again if we didn't have other options.

I've had their Teriyaki bowl and it's delicious. The couple who work here are really nice and friendly. I called today thinking they were open because their Google page says they are but the phone # either hangs up the call or has a recorder saying my call didn't go through. I hope they didn't close for good. Can anyone update me please...

I was compelled to write this review after running into this store by happenstance. I needed to get my tires replaced and I was planning on going by King's pizza for a sandwich (which is also very excellent), but I walked by this place and was attracted to simple menu and saw that it had high ratings from Yelp. I decided to give it a try. I ordered the standard chicken teriyaki will steamed veggies and white rice. So no big deal, right? Well, it's an ordinary dish executed flawlessly. The veggies were steamed a perfect amount of time. Perfect crispness but clearly not over or under done. The chicken. Was also very well done - not overcooked liked most teriyaki chicken - done just perfectly. Even the rice was cooed to perfection. Usually you get overdone rice at most places and pretty dry by the time it gets to you. Theirs was just perfect, moist and correctly done. Congratulations on perfect execution of everything I ordered. I'm definitely coming back here. By the way, this is a very deceptive hole in the wall place that serves really good food.

This is one of my favorite places. The food is not made until after you order. It's always fresh and hot. They have delicious purple rice and the spicy chicken is perfect. The gyoza come with a unique sauce that is wonderful. Vegetables in the bowls are large and high quality as is the chicken. Although the foods is not prepared until you order it, the orders still come out pretty quickly. They are also very friendly.

Good fast polite service,nice and clean , beef Teriyaky was good I eat it all,to me fork is to small,other that that I will definitely stop by again when in the area, thank you for the hard work

I tried them out today. They are super nice. The food was really good. It was a good sized portion for a chicken bowl. I recommend getting the sauce on the side. I definitely recommend that you try them. Support small businesses!!

Was a little iffy but decided to try this place on a whim. Best decision I ever made. This place has the best food and above all the best service. My new local spot.
